We believe strongly in doing the right thing because it’s the right thing to do. Our core values do not exclude the greater good. With so many products on the market we must stop referring to ourselves as “consumers”, but instead, “customers”. Disposability is quite possibly the most troubling issues in the furniture industry. We’d like to change that.

We no longer need bulky, space-consuming furniture to fulfill our needs for technology and other environmental constraints. Many of the products that served that need—even 5 years ago—are practically disposable. Couple that with our desire to redecorate or redesign our spaces every 5 to 10 years on average and we’ve created a serious global environmental issue.

Adapt has endeavored to solve this problem by designing, producing, and supplying more responsibly. We go beyond simply supporting American-made goods. All the wood used in our products is select-harvested, and supplied in Ohio. Our partner Amish builders observe sustainable operations with zero-waste of wood product and, among other things, support the growth and integrity of other local businesses. We guarantee our products for a lifetime because we want to see our products out there indefinitely.
